Welcome to the Year 6 page 2022-23!
This year Mrs Callaghan and Mrs Partridge will be teaching Year 6!
Year 6 can feel like a big year, the children's last year in primary school, SATs and residential - it can feel like a lot. Mrs Partridge and myself are always there to answer any questions or to alleviate any worries you or your child may have. Catch either of us at the end of the day or contact Mrs Hopkins or Mrs Boulton in the office and I can give you a call!
On the mornings that the children will be completing a SATs paper, the 9th - 12th May, please can your child be in school for 8:45am. We will then give them breakfast and help settle any nerves before starting the tests at 9am.
Any questions or worries, then please ask!

Mrs Callaghan
Recently we have had author C.C Brampton come in and talk to us about his new book Charlie Robonic. He read us the first chapter of his book and gave us the opportunity to win some limited edition pens, which Harry and Lilly one. He spoke about how he has kept going and didn't give up.
It was also on the same day as our jubilee celebrations! We enjoyed a lovely picnic on the field with our class.

Welcome to Year 6
2021-22
This year Miss Howard and Mrs Partridge will be teaching year 6
I am excited to get to know all of the children and I know Mrs Partridge is looking forward to spending another year with the children she worked with last year.
Year 6 can be an unnerving year with the idea of secondary school and SATs looming over but as always, we do everything to help the children achieve their very best.
If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to catch me at the end of the day or if your child walks home, call the office and leave a message and I will phone you back as soon as I can.
Miss Howard
