Year 2
Term 3 - Art
This term we have been looking at textiles in Art. Over the past few weeks we have been working on our sewing skills and have created a textile plane, inspired by our History topic. During these Art lessons, we have had to show much resilience, teamwork and creativity. We are really pleased with our final outcomes.
Term 3 - Week 1
It has been great to welcome Year 2 back and they have made a fantastic start to the term. This week in Science we enjoyed exploring everyday materials and we had some great discussions about the properties of these materials and why they had been chosen to create the objects. We focused on using scientific vocabulary such as absorbent and transparent.

Hello and welcome to Year 2. We hope you have had a lovely summer break and we are really enjoying reading the lovely holiday diaries that your children have written.
