Good morning everyone!
I hope that you all enjoyed your Easter Break and had some fun in the sunshine, hopefully with some chocolate too!
On the Week 5 page, I have added a selection of activities to complete. We are going to start the term with a PSHE week as always to settle us back into the school routine so do have fun with those. Again, please don't feel pressure to complete everything that has been set.
Take care of yourselves and each other and most importantly stay safe.
Speak to you soon!
Good Morning Year 5.
Welcome to our online learning page and thank you for reading this. You will find reading, maths, english and curriculum tasks to complete each day underneath the relevant resources folder. There will be new tasks uploaded daily (apart from curriculum which is a 2 week block) so please check back as often as you can for any updates! I have also left some links to any useful free resources you may wish to access.
Remember to record any work you complete in your home learning books and make time for times table rockstars (login in home learning books), reading and spellings daily.
I have also added a 'Chesterton Challenge' for you to complete at home for a bit of fun. Take lots of pictures whilst you complete these and we can share when we come back.
Speak to you soon!
I thought that I would add some information to help you all to stay active over the coming weeks. At school we use a PE scheme of work called Real PE. The company who produce this have opened up some of their online learning platform called Jasmine to parents and families.
It is called Real Play and it will give you some easy activities and adventures to enjoy with your children at home.
I would be trying to aim to be physically active for about an hour a day which can be tricky now we are not allowed to go out to parks etc.
