Week 7 13/07/2020

Hi everyone,

We have come to our last week of home learning and my last week as your class teacher. I will post a video from myself and the children in the school later in the week to say goodbye properly.

This week please continue reading the ebooks and following the phonics videos. If you are behind with the videos I would advise watching some of these in the summer as they will give your child a huge advantage in Year 1.

Reading: Please choose your favourite story and get your parent to read it to you.

Monday: Predict: Read up to a certain part of the story. Please write a prediction of what happens next.

Tuesday: Explain: Read whole story. What was your favourite part of the story. 

Wednesday: Infer: What can you infer from the pictures? How are the characters feeling.

Thursday: Retrieve: What happens in the story.

Friday: Sequence: Can you sequence the story.
