Week 6 - 11/5/20

Today is the day that we would have started SATs... it has certainly come around very quickly and this week will be very different to the way I saw it going!! I think it shows how quickly things can change but also that sometimes you have to make the most of a bad situation. This week would have been full of bacon butties and lots of hard work but it would have also been a week that every single one of you could have been proud of yourself for. I know I'm at risk of sounding soppy, but I am so proud of each and every one of you and the work you have done this year and I know I probably didn't say it enough whilst we were at school, so I'm taking this opportunity to say it to you.

Times Tables Rockstars

This week there is a competition that is taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If you haven't already seen it on the main class pages part of the website. Here is the message from Mr Tew with the details. If you have forgotten your login details, please get in contact with the office and I can send you the username and password. You should be using TT Rockstars as often as possible, remember I can see when you last logged in and how often you are using it! Most of you are using it regularly which is amazing!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick message to let you know that this week, we are entering into a competition with other schools in Gloucestershire to see who will be crowned TT Rockstars champions. On Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th between 10:00 and 13:00 any time you spend on TT Rockstars will add to our school points total.

So get playing on your TT Rockstars account as much as you can in this time to help us rise up and become Rock Legends!

There is a video below from the school organising the event so you can get more information there.

So strap on your air guitars, channel your inner Mathemagician and get ready to rock!

Thanks and have fun!

Mr Tew

Next week...

One of the activities that I have planned for next week involves junk modelling, it is based around the heart, so if you have any recycling that you think might help, I suggest that you keep it aside!
