English resources

Attached below are the lessons for this week of English.

If you would like to participate in some live English teaching, I would like to recommend that you log onto https://radioblogging.net/ at 9:30-10:30 each day. This is an online and interactive radio show with a man called Pie Corbett (who wrote the English scheme of work that we use at school). It will be some really high quality English teaching and work aimed at key stage 2 children.

This has been recommended to us by other local primary schools who are using it too. I will be logging in on Monday and joining in too straight after my workout with Joe Wicks!

Please continue to work through the CanDo workout booklet. If you have managed to complete all of the activities, I would recommend looking at some of the online games which are recommended at the beginning of the booklet. I am doing the Year 1 booklet with my son and we are only about halfway through so far.

Please continue practising your times tables through TT Rockstars. I have updated the times tables that it will test you on in Studio mode.

I have also attached the Can Do Workout answer booklet.

This week we will be completing a natural disasters project. The project board (available below) shows the overview of the entire project. I have then broken this down into smaller lessons found in the lesson plan word document.

I hope you have fun this week. It is a project I was really looking forward to teaching in class and I am a bit sad I wont get to work on it with you all!!
