Reception Easter Ideas

Dear Parents and Children,

Happy Easter!

I appreciate keeping things exciting for young children can be difficult (especially when stuck inside all day), so I thought I'd give you some activities for those times you are at a loose end. Please do not feel like you need to do them all, do as many or little as you like.

The most important thing about these 2 weeks is to have a break and have fun!

If possible could you please practice some maths, reading and writing on a daily basis? This does not need to be formal and it can be things like bed time stories, counting the stairs in the house as you go down them, and doing a bit of writing if you draw a picture. Keep it simple and fun! 

I also would like to say thank you for all the kind feedback I've received about the story time videos! These will continue after Easter.
