Reading at home

We have made the decision due to our Covid-19 risk assessments not to send physical books home during this difficult time. 

We are very lucky in school to have received a brand new set of reading books to aid your children with their development of reading. 

The books have been matched to the sounds your children understand in phonics so we can develop reading as effectively as possible.

We would love to continue to develop a partnership between school and home and I would like to ask that you sign up for the website below called Oxford reading owls. Every single book we have in school is available as a free e-book download which can be accessed through computers or tablets.

I would like to request that you continue to read with your children 3 times a week. 

I will send out a post it note with your child's reading level and current book.

I hope that we will be able to develop a great reading partnership through the use of this online resource.
