This week, the school have been focusing on labelling, recognising, managing and discussing our emotions. Each year group had a different picture book to start their discussions and to build their learning around.

Year 6 had the story Wisp By Zana Fraillon. They used the story to discuss how the senses helped people to remember significant memories in their life. They also discussed how the ‘wisp’ signifies hope. An emotion that we all need in the current times. This led to the children creating some hopes and dreams cubes, and creating their own poetry.

The poetry they wrote was moving and is something that made us all feel in proud!
