For Monday's English, I would like you think about what you did on snowy, Sunday 24th January.

Sadly, as we won't be in school together to share your snowy news, I'd like you to do some writing for me to tell me all about your Sunday when you discovered the snow outside.

Your challenge is to write a recount of your day, including a description of what the snow looked like outside, what you did on the snowy day (did you enjoy watching it from inside or did you go outside to play in it?) and how the snow made you feel.

I have included a winter word mat to help you with your writing.

You could start your writing like this:

As I woke up on Sunday, I could see snow all around.
