HI everyone!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine. I bet it has been nice to get out in the sun and maybe you have been lucky enough to have a paddling pool out.
I have enclosed a social story on coming back to school and if you are returning to school, it may be nice that you and your parents/ Careers read this together.
Please look after yourself and stay safe.
Missing you all lots.
Kathryn

Dear all
I hope you are all doing well and not getting to frustrated with being in lock down and not being able to get out much to see your family and friends, 😢I think most people have had enough and getting a little low in mood and maybe getting cross at the people we love, I have enclosed some work sheets to be able to write how we are feeling each day and there is another work sheet on how we can turn our negatives thoughts into positive thoughts. Have a look at these and they may help. Maybe your parents or someone living with you, may like to fill in their own sheets as well and you could have a chat about how you have both felt in the day. Its ok to be cross in these times, we just have to find a way to let these feelings pass and remember they are only feelings and they will come and go.
There is also a book you can download on line that may help its https://www.stuckinsidebook.com It is really for 7 years and under but I think it can help us all.
I have seen some of you at school, which has been lovely but I am still missing you all very much and looking forward to seeing you all when this is over.
I think even my dogs are asking when I am going back to work full time, as they like to snooze all day but can't when there are so many of us at home!
I hope you have been enjoying all the videos as much as we have had making them on the school website. I wonder what this week will bring.
If any of you feel the need to get in contact with myself, then please email me on the admin@chesterton.glouc.sch.uk and Mrs Hopkins will pass on any messages to me and I can give you a call.
Stay safe and sending you a huge virtual hug.
Take care
Kathryn
Hello to you all.
How are you doing? I am missing you all very much and can’t wait to see you all when this virus had gone away.
I have put together some fun activities for you to look at over the next few weeks and maybe do some with family or on your own. I will keep adding each week and you can chose the activities you want to do.
I bet you have found it very strange not coming to school and not being able to do the things we all take for granted, like riding our bikes and playing with our friends. Lots of children are feeling a little unsettled and it is alright to feel like this. You could write a diary each day and if you want to share your feelings with others in the house then you can. It will also be nice to look back in your diary’s in years to come and look at all the things you did when Corona 19 put us on lock down.
I have been baking lots with my children and also eating way too much cake, I have learnt to knit making a square for each day that we are not allowed to see our friends and family. See you're never to old to learn new things!
Hope you all have a lovely Easter holiday and enjoy any chocolate that the Easter Bunny may have left, I hope he comes to my house.
Stay safe and sending a big virtual hug.
Kathryn
