BNF Healthy Eating week @ Home

BNF Healthy Eating Week @ Home, a virtual event, will take place 22-28th June, aiming to encourage people of all ages to take part in a range of key health challenges, increasing their knowledge of healthy eating and wellbeing, the benefits of physical activityand cooking.

The new event is an online alternative to the annual BNF Healthy Eating Week which normally takes place at schools and workplaces in June. Last year, more than 4,770 nurseries and schools and 2,100 workplaces and universities registered to participate in the Week. While the coronavirus pandemic has made large-scale physical events impossible for the time-being, looking after our health and diet is more important than ever, and the BNF team has developed a new format to allow the Week to continue remotely.

If you follow the link below you will find ideas, activities and challenges to promote healthy eating at home.

Chesterton PE Challenge

Hi everyone,

This week we will be setting a PE challenge for everyone at home as well as everyone who has returned to school. This challenge is linked to the Gloucestershire School Games so most primary schools within the county will be taking part.

The aim is to record your personal best for your event.

Send your scores into school and I will create a total score for the school which we will send to Gloucestershire School Games on the 18th June.

The events are very light on equipment.

Please watch the video and see the attached documents for details of each event. Good luck and have fun!
